::I don't remember ever commenting on the issue, and since I haven't played Wrath of the Druids, I have still been avoiding pages pertaining to it. Our general policy is to correct Ubisoft's grammatical and spelling errors, bearing in mind that (a) in some cases, it is a different romanization style nor an error (e.g. Sokrates vs. Socrates) (b) We can still choose an updated romanization system as our in-house style (e.g. Tanba vs. Tamba), and (c) that in some cases, Ubisoft has opted to change the name of the individual (e.g. Garnier de Nablus vs. Garnier de Naplouse). That last was the question revolving around Yu Dayong since while it seems that Ubisoft made an error, there was the remote possibility it was an intentional change like Garnier de Naplouse. With the publication of Blade of Shao Jun, however, Yu Dayong's name has been corrected to Gu Dayong. This is the discussion page for Ímar.
Here, you may discuss improving the article.

Name spelling

This is an ongoing discussion.

The game uses Ímair pretty consistently and pretty erroneously. Ímair is the genitive case while Ímar is nominative. Should we be correcting this and should switch between spellings depending on where in the sentence and thus case it would be? Same applies to Barid/Baird. I remember being pretty vocal about this error upon the initial release of WotD. I'm for correcting it, but if memory serves (may be wrong) I think Cyf was adamant to keep it as its how it is in-game. VilkaIsBack (talk) 00:46, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

I don't remember ever commenting on the issue, and since I haven't played Wrath of the Druids, I have still been avoiding pages pertaining to it.
