:I think it's more likely to represent the area of Newport, Rhode Island, considering the name means "new port" and Newport Tower, which has pseudohistorical theories of Norse construction, has featured previously in AC (Aveline). ::I initially thought the same as well when I first added the lit translation of the name. But the map doesn't really support that location given the two main bodies of water and their relation the where the grand temple is. The coastline also looks to area north of Cape Cod. Per the Tower: Aveline DLC more implied the Sinclair expedition theory and while Ubisoft is free to change their mind if this was there intention they should have included the structure at the camp. I think it's more likely to represent the area of Newport, Rhode Island, considering the name means "new port" and Newport Tower, which has pseudohistorical theories of Norse construction, has featured previously in AC (Aveline). LePhantomChick N (talk) 03:23, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
