In real life, Christopher Gist is believed to have died in 1759 from smallpox in either Virginia, South Carolina, or Georgia. Although some reports state that he lived up to 1794 and died in Cumberland, North Carolina. The former seems to be more commonly accepted as acurate. :As a rule, our articles only contain information that comes from the AC media themselves, so games, novels, comics, etc. I don't believe there's any information on Gist's death (I'll check his database entry), so in this case, probably not. {{User:Crookandcharlatan/sig}} 22:11, October 26, 2015 (UTC)

::Really? Because a lot of articles contain individuals' life and death dates if that person was real. [[Lodovico Ariosto]], one of many examples, has his life and death dates listed on the grounds that he was a real-life individual. This was even discussed on his [[Talk:Lodovico Ariosto|talk page]].
