::Really? Because a lot of articles contain individuals' life and death dates if that person was real. [[Lodovico Ariosto]], one of many examples, has his life and death dates listed on the grounds that he was a real-life individual. This was even discussed on his [[Talk:Lodovico Ariosto|talk page]]. Date of Death
In real life, Christopher Gist is believed to have died in 1759 from smallpox in either Virginia, South Carolina, or Georgia.
