Aquilus

A sequel entitled Assassin's Creed: Aquilus is due out to promote Brotherhood soon. [1] Alientraveller 16:13, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm. Who is Aquilus? -- Master Sima Yi 16:32, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
Aquilus is the Assassin ancestor of Desmond who lived during the Third Century. Kalerney 18:15, December 30, 2010 (UTC)

Article revamp

I will be frank: this article is awful. It looks like nobody has any idea on how to handle this page, most likely because so few people have read these comics. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make this page look good? Perhaps we could make a separate article for each issue; Assassin's Creed: Desmond, Assassin's Creed: Aquilus, Assassin's Creed: Accipiter and Assassin's Creed: Hawk or something like that. Would clear up the issue with the infobox image, and the comic isn't really a "French comic" anymore now that it is released/going to be released in more languages, including English. What do you guys think/suggest? -- Master Sima Yi Talk 22:14, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Separating the articles would at least make it a little less of dense. The entire article is text, with hardly any images. Same goes for the infobox image, which is way too small and cramped. The trivia also needs sorting, since it handles the modern day elements as if they were canon, which they are not. Though, in the end, I guess the main thing to do is make separate articles, reword the synopsises (or whatever the plural is) and throw some images in. That would make things a lot better, I think. Here's what I think:
  • Minor Rewording
  • Separate the pages into 3.
  • Update any needed information.
  • Add images.
Then that's pretty much it. --Teller Words, On my Screen :O 11:03, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
I agree with Teller's analysis of this especially since the comics are getting another one and that would further add to the length of the article. -- KaloneousHelpDesk 11:13, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
Problem with that would be that we would have to make new categories and eras. Any suggestions on what they would be called? Since their official titles do have numbering. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 13:09, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
ACFC1, ACFC2, ACFC3, etc. seems like a logical choice for the Era icon naming. ~ GI Auditore Comms Channel 13:20, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
That could work. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 12:12, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

With lack of any more feedback, I have decided to go ahead and make separate articles for each issue of the comic series. I have also renamed the page itself because it can no longer be classified as a French comic. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 21:39, March 16, 2013 (UTC)

Genetic memory contradiction?

I don't think Desmond accessing the memory of Aquilus's death is quite a contradiction, it could have been from his child's point of view.

Well, Desmond did (from Maria's point of view), in Assassin's Creed 2, before he woke up saying something like "Weird dream...."  Also, when Ezio is born, there's the part where baby Ezio isn't breathing and you have to tap buttons to start his heart.  And Desmond still saw this memory (when actually he shouldn't really be able to see this, I mean how is a baby who is supposedly dead, and eyes barely opening supposed to have memories?).

Besides, the games never actually definitely stated that genetic memories only begin from the time of your birth, and it only makes sense the memory goes on in one continuing flow from one ancestor to another at conception.
