Æthelswith (c. 838 – 888) was an Anglo-Saxon noblewoman who lived during the 9th century. She was the daughter of King Æthelwulf of Wessex and thus the sister of King Alfred the Great and Aethelred. She reigned as queen of Mercia through her marriage to King Burgred of Mercia.[1]
