Wyther Farm was a regular-sized Anglo-Saxon farm build along the River Severn in the southwestern part of the region. It featured several buildings and fields.
In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and their raiding crew on his longship.[1]
