Woodmass Homestead was an Anglo-Saxon farm build along the River Severn in the northern part of the region, east of the Severn Outpost and west of the Northern Monastery. It consisted of a single building with two grain fields.
In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and her longship crew.[1]
