Village of Simonsbath

The Village of Simonsbath was an Anglo-Saxon village build along the River Exe in the northeastern part of the region, southeast of the Village of Dumnonia. It consisted of six houses and was surrounded by many grain fields. Around the village ran an old Roman road with several ruins alongside it.

In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and her longship crew.[1]
