The Vibrant Palette was the personal knife which belonged to the Italian polymath Leonardo da Vinci.[1]
While Leonardo was usually a peaceful man by nature,[2] horrified at the creation of Cesare Borgia's war machines[3] and averse to acting violently in general,[4] he knew enough about the millennia-long conflict between the Assassins and Templars that he felt it wise to arm himself with a small dagger. Designed and built by Leonardo himself during a burst of inspiration, the weapon featured a hilt decorated in gold. Leonardo kept it on his person as a last resort for self defense, but it never saw any use, and by his later years it primarily served as a further example of his craftsmanship.[1]
