Ullr's Aim

Ullr was an Æsir in Norse mythology, associated as a god of archery.

Legacy and influence

Ullr had a totem named after him in the popular dice game Orlog, played during the 9th century. The piece "Ullr's Aim" would ignore a number of the opponent's shield die and allow the player to inflict damage to their life points. The piece was in the possession of a Ravensthorpe resident, who after being defeated gifted the piece to Eivor Varinsdottir.[1]
