The Artisan Smith was a blacksmith who specialized in the working of adamantine in the 5th century BCE Greece.
Claiming to be able to smell the rare metal, the Artisan Smith set up his shop within the Oikos of the Olympians in Kirrha, Phokis, during the Peloponnesian War. There, he made the acquaintance of the Spartan misthios Kassandra as the mercenary sought help in restoring a special sword which had belonged to Amorges, the leader of the Order of Dominion and the Order of the Ancients in Greece.[1]
