Toscana (English: Tuscany) is one of the regions in Assassin's Creed II. While the region covers many cities and areas including Monteriggioni (and in real life, Florence too) its countryside (referred to alone as "Tuscany") is coupled to San Gimignano. Ezio first arrived in Tuscany on the look for Vieri de' Pazzi, one of the Pazzi conspirators.
