Maria Amiel, 1527.[src]

Troyes was a city in France. During the 11th century, the Order of the Knights Templar was formed in there and it became a Templar base.

In the early 16th century, the Assassin Giovanni Borgia, and Maria Amiel visited Troyes, wherein Giovanni had the objective to kill a Templar only known as "the Viper." The man showed himself after he started talking with Maria, and he was quickly assassinated by Giovanni soon afterwards.

The two left the town immediately after this, fleeing several enraged Templars.
