Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (Arthur William Patrick Albert; 1850 – 1942) was the seventh child and third son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.[1]
Biography
On 22 May 1867, Queen Victoria wrote to Alfred's older brother Edward, informing him that she would be inducting Arthur into the Order of the Sacred Garter on her next birthday.[2]
