Thrym's Rage was a predator bow named for the Jötnar king Þrymr of Norse mythology.
In the late 9th century, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan bought this bow from Hildiran, an old woman who'd moved to Ravensthorpe after a meteor uncovered the entrance to Freyja's Cave.[1]
