Theodore Roosevelt Jr. (1858 – 1919) was the 26th president of the United States, serving from 1901 to 1909. He was related to Franklin D. Roosevelt, who later became the 32nd president of the United States.[1]
Legacy
His face was added to Mount Rushmore located in South Dakota, in 1939 after carving began in 1937. His addition represented his development and his contributions to industry, diplomacy, and national parks of the United States.[1][2] Desmond Miles, while growing up during the early 2000s in the secret Assassin community known as the "The Farm" located in the Black Hills nearby to Mount Rushmore would look up at the monument and appreciate it.[3]
