Arno Victor[1] Dorian (1768 – unknown) was a French-Austrian Assassin. Blaming himself for the death of his adoptive father and seeking redemption, he joined the Assassin Order in 1789 to expose the true powers behind the French Revolution.[2][3]
Biography
Born to an Austrian mother and French father, Arno was raised in Versailles, a city near Paris, until his father was murdered mysteriously when Arno was eight years old; subsequently, his adoptive father also died in a similar manner. Wracked by guilt, he sought the Assassins as a way to gain redemption, helping those suffering similar injustice.[4]
Equipment and skills
Arno was a witty, brash and charismatic Assassin, but he was also known to be stealthy and ruthless. He wore a dark blue hooded coat, waistcoat, and breeches with leather gaiters, rather than the stockings which were popular in his time. He used the Phantom Blade, effectively a wrist-mounted crossbow that fired poison darts, as well as a cutlass and a multi-barreled pistol. A dynamic leader and a skilled swordsman, Arno stopped at nothing to uncover the truth about the forces controlling the Revolution for their own gain.[3]
