Arno Victor[1] Dorian (1768 – unknown) was a French-Austrian Assassin. Blaming himself for the death of his adoptive father and seeking redemption, he joined the Assassin Order in 1789 to expose the true powers behind the French Revolution.[2][3]

Biography
Early life
Born to an Austrian mother and French father, Arno was raised in Versailles, near Paris, until his father was assassinated when he was eight years old. Feeling guilty, he sought the Assassins as a way to gain redemption.[4]
Equipment and skills
Arno was a witty, brash and charismatic Assassin, but he was also known to be stealthy and ruthless. He wore a dark blue hooded coat, waistcoat, and breeches with boots, rather than the stockings which were popular in his time. He used the Phantom Blade, effectively a wrist-mounted crossbow that fired poison darts, as well as a cutlass and a multi-barreled pistol.[3]
Trivia
- Arno's name is of Old German origin and can be translated to "eagle-wolf" or "the eagle rules". Victor is Latin for "conqueror", while Dorian is a Greek name meaning "gifted".
