The Jackal was a legendary scepter modelled after the imagery of Anubis, the god of the underworld in Egyptian mythology.
The sword was made available to the simulated Medjay Bayek of Siwa after Layla Hassan, who was reliving his memories, interacted with an Animus glitch.[1]
