Thaleia's Overprotective Hat was a legendary hat worn by the mercenary Thaleia the Talon Hand in ancient Greece during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the hat was acquired by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]

Behind the scenes
Unlike most gear dropped by the weekly bounty mercenaries, Thaleia's hat is legendary. Due to unknown reasons, it can also be bought from a blacksmith. Previously an Epic quality hat called "Sun Hat", it was later changed to only be the Legendary "Thaleia's Overprotective Hat." However, players possessing the Epic version in their inventory had the hat's name and description changed but not the rarity. The previous description read: "Will protect you from the sun and not much else."
