Doctor Stéphanie-Anne Ruatta is a Canadian historian with a PhD in ancient languages and literature.[1] After she met the artists Benjamin Hall and Thierry Dansereau while on the first scouting trip to Greece as part of the development for the 2018 game Assassin's Creed: Odyssey,[2] she was recruited to work for Ubisoft Quebéc, where she is now employed as a full-time historian.[3]

On 16 May 2024, as part of Assassin's Creed: Shadows' marketing cycle, Ruatta participated on an exclusive interview with IGN alongside other members of the development team, such as game director Charles Benoit.[4]
