The Stiletto

The Stiletto was an obtainable weapon during the Renaissance period, in which the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze could purchase it from blacksmiths located in the Italian cities of Florence, Monteriggioni, Tuscany, Romagna, Venice,[1] and Rome.[2] He could also purchase a variation of this weapon from the blacksmiths in the Turkish city of Constantinople.[3]

Trivia

  • The stiletto knife was often depicted as being used by Ezio in a slashing attack. While this would be unusual for a stiletto, as the weapon was normally designed as a secondary thrusting and parrying weapon to be paired with a rapier or other light sword, some instances of stiletto knives did have sharpened edges for cutting purposes.
