The Stable of Ares

The Stable of Ares was a stable located north of the dromos in Elis City in Elis, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the stable was in the possession of the military and was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1] It was the place where a military commander had left Thespis' cheaper wine after commandeering it, the other place being Demiurgi Fort.[2][3]
