Solvej was a female dwarf who lived in Svaladal, Svartálfaheimr.
Biography
Solvej and her friends found their way to Jordeygr Shelter when the Muspels invaded. However, they were captured by Muspel warriors after leaving the shelter. She was the lone survivor, and she pleaded for her life until she was saved by the Æsir lord Havi. After Havi killed the Muspels, Solvej thanked him and mentioned how she learned that the soldiers' leader was possibly stationed northeast of Stór Mylna. She then traveled back to her shelter. When she saw Havi visit later, she approached the god again and gave him a gift [citation needed] for rescuing her.[1]
