The Ares' Bow of Slaughter was a bow dedicated to the Greek god of war Ares in Gortyn, Messara during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the bow was obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra in exchange for some fangs.[1]
