The Sarissa was a spear used during in classical antiquity. In Makedonia, the spear's attributes gave the Macedonian army an advantage over their enemies. In the Ptolemaic Egypt, the spear was favored by the soldiers.
In 48 BCE, the Phylakes known as the Stranger made use of a Sarissa. The Medjay Bayek of Siwa defeated the Phylakes and took his spear for himself.[1]
