The remains of the Sanctuary of Mt. Zas

The Sanctuary of Mt. Zas was a sanctuary dedicated to the god Zeus, located on top of Mt. Zas of Naxos Island, Greece.

According to the stories, the sanctuary was built where Zeus was hidden until he was old enough to fight the Titans, including his father Kronus.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra explored the mountain, visiting the sanctuary as well.[1]
