San Gimignano is one of the many cities in Tuscany. It is characterized by tall towers that resemble skyscrapers which gave it the nickname of "Medieval Manhattan". It was essentially a medieval fortress with numerous watch towers and monasteries. The look of San Gimignano resembles that of the first game. It is described as the best place to do free running in the game because of the buildings similar heights. San Gimignano contains one Assassin's tomb.

Side Missions

  • Don't Get your Hands Dirty (DNA Sequence 5) This is an assassination mission received from a pigeon box. Your task is to have 4 guards killed without killing them yourself. It can be very difficult because several of the guards are on towers and mercenaries and thieves cannot climb tower walls. However, it is possible to just pull them down or kill them without using any weapons (i.e. with your fists).
