Saint John's Gate was the name used for the northern exit gate in the Middle District of the city Acre.
History
In 1191, the Levantine Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad eavesdropped on two Knights Teutonic at the square in front of Saint John's Gate.
Sibrand, Grand Master of the Knights Teutonic, wrote a letter to his Templar master Robert de Sablé, which was to be transfered by a dockworker to a courier at Saint John's Gate. However, Altaïr pickpocketed the letter before it could reach the courier.
