History

Ruisseau du Renard was populated by large populations of deers and foxes, from which it received its name. Due to its abundance of the species, hunters would visit the area and provide challenges.

During the Seven Years' War, the French constructed an outpost for supplies in the area. The Colonial Assassins' gang also built a small camp at the edge of Ruisseau du Renard.
