Rome (Roma in Italian) is a location in Assassin's Creed II.

Rome is the final location in Sequence 14 of Assassin's Creed II. The player will have to traverse Castel Sant Angelo's walls to reach the Templar leader Rodrigo Borgia, who has become Pope. However unlike the other locations, you may not revisit Rome after the final mission, and nor does it have shops or any areas available for free-roaming. Rome is also the main location of Lineage's last part.

It could be that the level was designed to be like Arsuf in the first game (a location you will be able to visit only once with no remarkable locations).

Landmarks

One of the greatest landmarks of Rome is the Colosseum which can be viewed from far away (but not accessible) in the game.
