The Animi's graphical representation of the Robber.

The Robber (real name: Fillan McCarthy) was an Animi Avatar used by the entertainment branch of Abstergo Industries, as part of their plan to influence the general public, via the console stage of the Animus technology. His specialty weapon was a grappling hook, broken and tied to a piece of wood.

Biography

Like his older sister, Gillian McCarthy, Fillian learned everything he knows from the streets. While his sister manipulated her way up the social ladder, he broke ties with her, not wanting to be a burden to someone who had already given so much to him. Now a young man and able to take care of himself, his only loyalty is to his next meal and his estranged sister.

Unique Moves

(Low Profile, Front)

The Robber plunges his grappling hook into his victim's right shoulder severing several arteries, before placing his foot on their leg and forecefully pushing it out from under them causing them to turn and fall ripping the hook out. He then leaves his victim to bleed out on the ground.

(Low Profile, Back)

The Robber plunges his hook into his victim's neck and places his free hand on the other side of their neck and swiftly pulls the hook to the side snapping their neck and freeing the hook.

(High Profile, Front)

The Robber runs towards his target as he leaps at them. While in mid-air, he removes his grappling hook and drives it into their throat. With his momentum, he pulls his victim to the floor and roughly pulls his hook free, before leaving them there to die.

(High Profile, Back)

The Robber runs towards his target and shoves his target's back with his elbow. As they fall back, he sinks his grapping hook into the side his victim's neck while pulling them to the ground. As he pulls the hook down, it would slit his victim's neck. By the time they reach the floor, the Robber would yank his weapon out of their throat, leaving them to die on the floor.

(Aerial Kill)

The Robber jumps from above a rooftop and removes his grappling hook as he drops, before using his target to break his fall. He then plants his hook into the side of their shoulder, and as his victim lays dying on the floor, the Robber yanks his hook free and stand up from his crouched position, before storing his weapon away.

(Bench Kill)

The Robber grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until his head rests against it. Before they can do anything to defend themselves, the Robber forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking his victim's neck on the bench behind them.
