Richard Montgomery (1738 - 1775) was a soldier in the British Army who later defected to the Continental Army. He led a Colonial force on an assault of Quebec. However, the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton realized that the inhabitants of Quebec had not asked for this. Because of that, the Assassins tried to dissuade Richard, but to no avail. Ratonhnhaké:ton then sent his recruits to stop the attack themselves.
