Reynolds (unknown – 10 February 1868) was the assistant of Sir David Brewster, a Templar who conducted experiments on an Apple of Eden in his underground laboratory near Croydon.

Following a visit from the Templar Lucy Thorne, who threatened Brewster to achieve results or face the consequences, the scientist and his assistant attempted to activate the Apple by directing a constant and increasing flow of electricity into the artifact. Reynolds voiced his concerns that this would destabilize it, but Brewster dismissed him, ranting about Charles Darwin's theory of evolution and Thorne's threats.

Unbeknownst to them, the Assassin Evie Frye had infiltrated the lab and promptly struck down Brewster. The Apple then overloaded due to the electricity that had been pumped into it, and the lab was completely destroyed in the resulting explosion, killing Reynolds.
