The Remission was a metallic shield commissioned by the Roman general Pompey as a gift to the Egyptian pharaoh Ptolemy XII Auletes.
By the 1st century BCE, it came under the possession of an individual known as Son of Ra. The Medjay Bayek of Siwa later obtained the shield after assassinating the individual.[1]
