Petra was an Anglo-Saxon woman who served as a hunter for the Raven Clan in England during the 9th century.

Biography

Petra lived and worked at the Hunter's Hut in Ravensthorpe alongside her adopted brother Wallace, the village's tanner. She was always busy with hunting for hides and food, but also keeping the surrounding area safe from predators. When wolves were reported nearby she enlisted the aid of Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir to clear them out, rescuing a farmer and his sheep in the process.[1]

When her brother went missing, she once again enlisted Eivor's aid and decided to track him down. When they followed the clues they ended up in a small ancient Roman bathhouse where a cloud of mushroom spores hung in the air. They then roamed the countryside, both high on the mushrooms chasing illusions until they found Wallace who was just a bit delayed.[2]

When she worked together with Eivor she grew very fond of her, showing her interest in a relationship. Afterwards she invited Eivor for a friendly archery contest.[3]

As hunter of Ravensthorpe, she was a skilled archer and had her own bow, which was later acquired by Eivor.
