Panormos Military Camp

Panormos Military Camp was a small military camp located east of Patrai in Achaia, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the camp was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who eliminated the soldiers and looted their valuables.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name of the camp references the harbour of Panormos, where in 429 BCE the Spartan fleet and infantry united prior to the Battle of Naupactus.
