Oija was a Lunden blacksmith who aligned himself with Sister Frideswid, a nun and a member of the Order of the Ancients.

Not much is known about Oija, though he is an Norse blacksmith that came to work for the Order member, Sister Frideswid, also known as The Leech. Helping Oija, a young Norse girl named Regna, daughter of Gyda, came to work for him in terms of errands and buying hacksilver. Unknown to the girl, Oija knew what the designs and tools he made were being used for, as he followed Frideswid's logic.[1]
In 873, Oija was visited by Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, however he did not know who she was or that she was investigating Regna's disappearnce. Being interrogated by Eivor, Oija divulged that his last worker, Regna, became ill and was sent to The Good Sister, Frideswid. - Eivor may end killing Oija if she started to fight or used her charisma to make him tell her who The Leech was. However, if she masqueraded as an Order member, Eivor left Oija alive after their conversation.
