Nicolas Fatio de Duillier (1664 – 1753) was a Swiss mathematician, natural philosopher, astronomer, inventor, and religious campaigner. He was a close associate and assistant of Isaac Newton, having met him during their time in Cambridge, where they worked on research involving the Philosopher's stone.
