Nessa was a Kanien'kehá:ka who stayed at Ravensthorpe in England during the 9th century.
History
When Gorm Kjotvesson traveled to Vinland to retrieve a crystal ball, the Viking Randvi of the Raven Clan contracted her to take the clan's shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir across the oceans to hunt down Gorm.[1] After Eivor completed her mission, Nessa decided to stay in Ravensthorpe and act as a ferrywoman to and from her home village.
