Luis Santangel, originally Luis de Santángel, was a baptized Jew and finance minister of Ferdinand II who introduced Christopher Columbus and his voyage plans to Isabella I. He financed most of Christopher's voyage.

Luis and Christopher (Christoffa here) appear in Assassin's Creed II: Discovery. Luis heard that Christoffa arranged a meeting with Rodrigo Borgia after the latter heard of Christoffa's plans to sail west. Luis knew the meeting was a trap and contacted the leader of Venice's thieves, Antonio, to help him protect Christoffa.
