Odin arrives at Leyna Falls

Leyna Falls was a hidden well in eastern Jötunheimr.

History

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Jotunheim, the Æsir lord traveled to Leyna Falls after agreeing to find three roots of hag's claw for Angrboda in exchange for information about a special mead. While venturing through the well's cave, he remembered that the roots are found near red moss. While in the cave, he found red moss besides the roots of Yggdrasil and collected the three roots. Later, he found an exit and left to meet Angrboda at her home again.[1]
