Leof was a beggar living in Wincester, England in the late 9th century.

Around 877, Leof was killed by the Order of the Ancients and his face burned off, so they could fake Bishop Ealhferth's death. Leof was then buried as Ealhferth in Saint Peter's Church.[1]
