Leicestershire

Leicestershire (Old English: Ledecestrescire) is a landlocked county in the East Midlands of England. It borders Lincolnshire to the north-east and Northamptonshire to the south-east. The county takes its name from the county town Leicester, located at the region's centre. Its principal navigable river is the Soar River.

It is here were Eivor Varinsdottir, Sigurd Styrbjornsson and the Raven Clan arrived and founded the settlement of Ravensthorpe.
