Guseva, killed by Nikolai Orelov.

Khioniya Kuzminichna Guseva (c. 1881 - 1917) was a townswoman of Syzran', Simbirsk province, in the Russian Empire.[1]

At some point, she became a disciple of the monk Grigori Rasputin. In 1914, Guseva travelled with Rasputin to his hometown of Pokrovskoye, in Siberia. Upon meeting him outside the church in the town, Guseva charged at him for unknown reasons, and sliced his stomach. Though Rasputin's intestines fell out and he clutched at them, he smiled at Guseva and used the shard of the Staff that he had worn around his neck to force her to mutilate herself. Her face became heavily disformed as a result, and was lacking a nose.[2]

She was imprisoned in the asylum in Krasnoyarsk, until she was freed from her cell by the Assassin Nikolai Orelov in 1917. In exchange for telling him what happened during her assassination attempt, she would get her freedom. Once she fulfilled her end of the deal, she asked the Assassin to put her out of her misery, and Orelov thrusted his hidden blade through her heart.[2]
