Kate Heartfield (born 1977) is a Canadian journalist and Aurora-award winning speculative fiction writer. She is the writer for Aconyte Books' first two entries in the Assassin's Creed: The Engine of History trilogy, The Magus Conspiracy and The Resurrection Plot.
Biography
Early career
Heartfield won the Aurora award for her novel Armed in her Fashion, and another, the historical fantasy novel went on to become a bestseller. She has gotten to be finalist for the Nebula, Locus, Crawford, Sunburst and Aurora awards through her novellas, stories, and games.[2]
Assassin's Creed
Kate Heartfield was announced as the author of then-upcoming Assassin's Creed novel The Magus Conspiracy in June 2022 as part of the series' 15th anniversary celebration.
