Kamimisu Inari Shrine

Kamimisu Inari Shrine was a Shinto shrine in southern Kii, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In autumn 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe ventured to the shrine at night and caught sight of the supernatural silver fox at a cliff near the shrine. Quietly, Naoe drew a sumi-e of the creature to bring and to show Junjiro at the homestead.[1]
