John in the Bunker

John (unknown – 2013) was an IT technician working for Abstergo Entertainment, a subsidiary of Abstergo Industries.

He secretly worked in association with Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane, in order to gain access to Abstergo Entertainment, and its servers, using an analyst working on the Sample 17 Project to do so.

When Abstergo got wise to a hacker in the building, they put the analyst team on lockdown. John took the initiative, promising Melanie Lemay to find the hacker, while directing the analyst to Abstergo's cloud server to wipe away any evidence of their wrongdoing. But at the same time, John intended for Juno to possess the analyst, only for the attempt to fail, as Juno was not strong enough to possess a host. John spouted a tantrum as the analyst returned to the Animus.

Just when the analyst was about finished with Edward Kenway's memories, John attempted to kill the analyst with a lethal injection,. However, he was shot and killed by Abstergo Industries' security guards. Before he died, he mimicked Bartholomew Roberts' accent and shared the pirate's look, revealing himself to also be a Sage - a reincarnation of Aita, one of the members of the First Civilization and husband of Juno. John was then blamed for the analyst's wrongdoings.
