John Pierpont Morgan (April 17, 1837 - March 31, 1913) was an American financier, banker and art collector who dominated corporate finance and industrial consolidation during his time. He was a member of the Templars.

He initially invested in Nikola Tesla's Wardenclyffe Tower; but after Thomas Edison, another Templar and Tesla's competition, found out that Tesla wanted to give the people free electricity, he started to campaign against Tesla and showed the faults in Tesla's AC electricity, as well as sending a letter to Morgan explaining the situation.
