Jason's Golden Fleece

Jason's Golden Fleece was a legendary piece of torso armor that was part of the Greek Heroes armor set during the 5th century BCE. It was attributed to the legendary hero Jason.

During the Peloponnesian War the fleece was in the possession of a mercenary with the sobriquet "the Resplendent". They were defeated by the Spartan misthios Kassandra who claimed the chest piece as her own.[1]
